How to download the latest Hero11 update
Check your installed version, download the new APK from the Hero11 site, then install it over the existing app so your login stays in place.
Quick answer
If the Hero11 app itself asks you to update, follow that prompt. Otherwise check your current version in Settings › Apps › Hero11, open the Hero11 site in Chrome, tap DOWNLOAD on the APK banner and install the new file over the existing app. Don't uninstall first: installing on top keeps the app's data and your saved login.
Check which version you have
If the app opens normally, you can also look for an About or Settings section inside Hero11. Either way, knowing your current version is the only reliable way to tell whether the update worked: a file called “latest” or “new” doesn't tell you what's inside it.
- Open Settings › Apps (on some phones Settings › Apps › See all apps) and tap Hero11.
- Scroll to the bottom of the App info screen, or open Advanced, to see the version number.
- Write the version down so you can compare it after updating.
Download the new version
- Open Chrome on your phone and go to the Hero11 site.
- Tap DOWNLOAD on the “Download the APK” banner at the top of the page.
- Wait until Chrome › ⋮ › Downloads shows the new file as complete.
- If there are several Hero11 files, pick the newest one by date and time.
Delete old Hero11 APKs from Downloads before you start, so you can't open last month's file by mistake. Short on room? See how much space Hero11 needs.
Ready to install Hero11?Opens the Hero11 site in a new tab. On your Android phone, tap DOWNLOAD on the “Download the APK” banner at the top.
Install it over the existing app
Tap the new file. Instead of a fresh install, Android should ask whether you want to install an update to this existing app. Tap Update or Install and wait for the confirmation. Because the update replaces the app in place, your settings and saved login normally stay where they are.
If Android says “App not installed” or that the package conflicts with an existing package, the new file doesn't match the app on your phone. Don't keep retrying and don't uninstall your working app in a hurry. Check that you downloaded from the Hero11 site rather than a mirror, download a fresh copy, and if the message comes back, ask Hero11's Help with the exact wording.
Check the update worked
If the download itself won't finish, see stuck or failed downloads. For installer messages in more detail, use the after-download checklist.
| What you see | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Version number is higher | The update installed | Open Hero11 and carry on. |
| Version number didn't change | You opened an older file, or the site is still offering the same release | Delete old files, download again and compare the version. |
| “App not installed” | Incomplete file, low storage or a package clash | Free space, redownload once and keep the existing app installed. |
| You're asked to log in again | Some updates clear the saved session | Use the same email or mobile number; don't register a new account. |
When should you update Hero11?
Update when the app asks you to, when a section stops loading or behaves oddly, or when Hero11 announces a new version on its official channels. Updates usually bring fixes and changes to the app, and an old version can stop working properly once the service moves on.
Always take updates from the same place: the DOWNLOAD banner on the Hero11 site. Files shared in groups, “mod” versions and APK mirror sites can look identical but may be older, changed or simply a different app, and they are the most common reason an update clashes with the installed app.
- Before updating: check your version, delete old APKs and make sure you have free space.
- While updating: install over the existing app and keep Play Protect on.
- After updating: check the new version number and that you can still sign in with your usual email or mobile number.
Frequently asked questions
How do I update the Hero11 app?
Download the latest APK from the DOWNLOAD banner on the Hero11 site and install it over the app you already have. When Android asks whether to update the existing app, tap Update.
Do I need to uninstall Hero11 before updating?
No. Install the new file over the existing app. Uninstalling first deletes the app's local data and saved login, and it isn't needed for a normal update.
Will updating Hero11 delete my account or balance?
No. Your account and balance are held by Hero11, not inside the APK file. If the app asks you to sign in after updating, use the same email or mobile number.
How do I check which Hero11 version I have?
Go to Settings › Apps › Hero11 on your phone. The version number is shown at the bottom of the App info screen, sometimes under Advanced.
